A shocking stunt in Meerut has gone viral, capturing the internet's attention for all the wrong reasons. A man identified as Intezaar Ali from Mundali village piled mud onto the roof of his Mahindra Thar SUV and sped down the wrong side of the road, scattering mud everywhere and creating a hazardous situation for other road users.

In a video that quickly spread online, Ali can be seen shoveling mud onto his vehicle before driving recklessly at high speed, causing the mud to fly into the air. The stunt, allegedly aimed at gaining social media clout, endangered motorists, particularly bikers, who were caught in the debris.

The local authorities swiftly intervened. After reviewing CCTV footage and questioning witnesses, the Meerut Police issued an e-challan of ₹25,000 to the driver for reckless driving and endangering public safety. The Superintendent of Police confirmed that such behavior could lead to severe accidents and assured the public that strict action would be taken against such offenders.

This incident is a stark reminder of the growing trend of dangerous stunts performed for online fame. While social media platforms often reward such acts with likes and views, the risks involved are far too great to ignore. From disrupting traffic to putting lives at stake, these stunts highlight the lengths to which some individuals will go for fleeting attention.

The Mahindra Thar, know for its rugged build and off-road capabilities, has unfortunately become a common feature in such incidents. While the vehicle itself remains a symbol of adventure and strength, such acts tarnish its reputation.

Authorities across India are ramping up efforts to penalize reckless behavior on the roads. However, a broader awareness campaign is needed to discourage individuals from putting themselves and others in danger for the sake of online validation.

This incident is a wake-up call for everyone to prioritize safety over fleeting fame.
